Hello list,

So this has been an issue I’ve experienced going backa few JFW releases
now, but haven’t ever really followed up on it since it’s easy to fix.

When I have my Outlook 2010 open and am in the listview of messages. Be it
the inbox, sent, deleted or a folder I created myself and have IE open,
everything is fine. Jaws reads the header information such as sender’s name,
subject and so on. When I have Outlook open along with Firefox, often, the
listview window will change and Jaws will start reading each header title
along with the corresponding information. Such as “From” then the sender’s
info, “subject” then the subject text, etc. Also, if I am in the body of an
email, Jaws will start reading the information as though the scheme is set
to atributes or something along those lines. Announcing the format of the
email background color for example. The fix has always been to take focus
out of the Outlook application and then go back to it. Easy enough, but
either it’s becoming a more frequent issue for me or maybe I’m just finally
getting tired of it, but I am noticing it more and more now.

Does anyone else encounter this problem and have they found a solution to
it?

I’m using the latest JFW 16 and latest Firefox. Like I said, this only
happens when Firefox is open. If I’m in IE or no browser at all, never a
problem.

Thanks,
