Hi, I just keep getting thousands of search results from bing that lead me
off in myriad directions when I type "about:condfig" into the firefox
address bar... what am I not doing correctly?

Perhaps you should change this value from "true" to "false" in about config
page:
layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled
I use Firefox 34.0 with JAWS 15.0.12085 and the JAWS cursor works quite
well.
