I did this for the "in" box and your solution worked fine. When I went to other folder, this new "view" for the "in box" did not work on other folders. Do I need to make this change for each folder then? Again, thank you. Press the Spacebar and arrow down to Off, and press enter to check it. This will take you back in to the Inbox where Insert+PageDown will read how many messages in your Inbox. Insert page down this is the only way I know to read how many I have to go through. The question I have is why haven't they given us a way to know what number you are in the list. You are correct about the slowness issues. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Cristóbal Sent: Thursday, January 08, 2015 2:22 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2010 status line issue That sounds like an iMap set up to me. Pop3 does this along with Exchange accounts, but have never been able to get iMap accounts to read this info. Furthermore, you'll find that Jaws behaves very slowly with iMap accounts. I thought I had set up the Outlook 2010 correctly, but my status line does not indicate the number of messages as it does on my other computer running office 2003. While on the message list, when I do a "read bottom (status) line, jaws says "filter applied, connected, 100%). Any thoughts? Cannot find anything in the view menu to change to get the number of messages in the particular folder.
