Know what you mean. That virtual trick sometimes works to read individual fields or boxes. This capability is still new and raw, so be sure to keep FS in the loop.

As you make your way through the program, you may wind up experimenting with Forms mode to see what works well for you. Right now, I'm wrestling with some arrows that sometimes respond to commands and sometimes not. I hate it when I see a control I can't activate, and it really slows down routine operations; I can't exactly call a sighted colleague every time I need to perform a simple function. Ironically, the state had a perfectly functional program to do the same job, until someone decided to improve it. Nonetheless, we're a lot closer than we were 6 months ago--far too close to give up.
