Just a note:
You do not have to be on the desktop to invoke the Windows key + Pause key
combination,
this can be done from any window.
Also, in Windows XP, you can hit the Escape key to close the window after
viewing the system information,
but it seems that in Windows 7 and up, it requires Alt + F4 .

HTH,
Rick Justice

Tomorrow's another day, another way!
and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved!

hello there!

if you have a computer icon on the desktop,

1, desktop,

2, press c=computer,

3, now bring up the properties,
alt+enter,
or, press applications key up arrow enter on properties,
now, route jaws to pc, insert+minus,
now read the text.
 another way is,

from the desktop, press,
windows-key+the pause key,
again route jaws to pc insert+minus, read the text.

another way is;

Determine the bit count of Windows 7/Vista

1. Click Start, right-click Computer, and then click Properties.

2. Under System, next to System type, the operating system appears as
follows:

64-bit Operating System

32-bit Operating System
hope this helps.
