Verizon really should hear from its blind customers about their hard to manage site altogether.
Trying to register a cell phone is no picnic, either.

If you are a Verizon customer and you want to access your e-mail from a
remote location through the Internet, Verizon has seriously hardened their
security screen. It is accessible but will take a lot of patience and
manipulation.

1. Password has to meet certain qualifications. That isn't new.

2. 2. An image has to be chosen from a list and then, you have to
type in a phrase describing that image in your own words.

Once you have gone through those steps, without issues, you can then sign
into the sight through VERIZON.COM or VERIZON.NET. But when you sign in,
Verizon twists your tail even more. There's a field containing CAPTIA.
However, there is an audio link and the recordings aren't too bad.

Be very careful with this. If you try too many times, you end up having
your account locked out. If that happens, you can check a box which will
give you an automated phone call. The system will provide you with an
access code. All you have to do is type that code in the space provided.

To put it bluntly, it's a pain in the rear!

It's probably a harbinger of things to come.
