Subject: [JAWS-Users] How to do System Restore and More...

Doing a system restore...
start menu, type in edit box, system restore then enter.
tab to next button and spacebar it, then tab to the restore point and
choose one in the list, if only couple are showing, then tab to the "show
more restore points" and spacebar to check it, then tab and a drop list
gives more restore points to choose.
After choosing one, tab to next spacebar it. You will be asked are you sure
you wish to continue, tab to yes or ok and spacebar it.
You will hear after that, message stating once this is started, your
computer will be in safe mode or something like that, don't panic here
thinking you can't do it, because you can.. then just let the computer do
it's thing, jaws will come back talking.
I love window's 7 system restore over XP cause it doesn't pop up that
screen to exit the program, it should land you back on your desktop.
I've done this many many times and sometimes it's the only thing that seems
to get stuff back to working before it wasn't.
**the bottom section is for making your own restore point , follow steps
below, it works just as is written.**

to create a restore point do this..

start button edit search for: create in box, then tab or up/down arrow to
create...enter

tab to maybe next button, spacebar that, then to create...enter on that.

windows automatically adds the date and time point is created, you could
just accept this, or type in a name for the restore point so you know what
it's for.

press either enter after typing in a name or tab to next button and
spacebar, windows will make a sound and let you know when it's created the
restore point, then tab to close and then to ok button. you might have to
do alt f4 to close this window.

**follow these steps to locate your just created restore point as written**

To find the restore point...

press the windows key and r for the run command and type in: rstrui and
enter

tab one time then your in list of the restored points made, up/down arrow
to one you want and enter on it.

note: jaws will only say thecurrent one in list giving the date and time it
was created, if you assigned a name to it, you have to route jaws cursor to
read the name using the insert key and up arrow
