I noticed you didn't have any information related to Firefox on the excess
ability on Firefox. In addition, I noticed that you also didn't provide
information related to chrome Vox that helps with accessing chrome. Or use
chrome as my primary browser on Windows 8, and have no difficulty with it.
Actually have found that chrome interact with most websites more efficiently
than Internet explorer, not sure if this is because of chrome book scripts
or because draws prefers it.

Ladies and gentlemen,
We ran tests on these browsers at Virtual Vision Technologies.
Regrettably, there are some browsers out there which are incredibly fast
but they aren't accessible with a screen reader or magnification. Each of
these browsers has elements which are unique and keeping them around is an
excellent suggestion. However, each person uses an internet browser in
his or her own manner.
INTERNET EXPLORER:
Reliable and fairly consistent in all types of HTML environment.
However, Internet Explorer has been targeted for hacking and interference
more than any other software of its type.
2. GOOGLE CHROME:
Not completely accessible. Due to its incompatibility with screen
readers, Google Chrome can be frustrating at times . The spoken search
capability is an excellent option once it has been set up with a PC.
However, that is a difficult process for anyone except an advanced
computer user. Once acquired, Google Chrome can be almost twice as fast
as older versions of Explorer but it is affected by Internet traffic and
will slow to a crawl in high volume conditions. Google Chrome is still a
work in progress and it too has been hacked and abused on many occasions.
The opinions expressed here are based on our observations. We tested and
timed both browsers using Windows 7 and 8.1 systems. Local internet
conditions must be taken into consideration.
With the introduction of Windows 10, Internet Explorer will no longer be
used by Microsoft. It is being replaced by a new browser called Spartan.
Spartan uses technology originally made available through Google Chrome
and other lesser known search engines. We anticipate that Spartan will be
an entirely new approach to surfing the Internet. As always, early
versions of Windows 10 may require additional upgrades to deal with bugs
and development issues.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I'm not going to get into some sort of flame war with anyone here. Yes,
fastest browser with HTML 5 sites definitely. JAWS and combo boxes, a
little problematic.
What's your point? Post privately if you just want to go back and forth
about nothing.
The main point I wanted to make here is that it is wise to keep all the
browsers around for those instances when a particular site works better on
one than another, JAWS notwithstanding.

Hopefully someone can provide a little better response than "I got rid of
the thing." I would encourage everyone to keep IE, Firefox and Chrome
around
because there are invariably things you'll find that will work better with
Chrome than anything else. If nothing else, Chrome is the fastest browser
of
the bunch.
Not sure why there is an unusual amount of Chrome hate on this list.
I admit that combo boxes are a little quirky and there may be occasions
where depending on the way they're done, there may be some problems.
However, if you enable Forms Mode and then press Alt + Down Arrow, for
many
combo boxes, you'll be able to cause them to work although they may be a
little sluggish and quirky compared to how they work, for example, in IE.
Combo boxes are quite iffy with JAWS these days no matter what browser you
use.

Hi Tom, as far as I know, google chrome isn’t accessible with jaws, I’ve
tried it for the hell of it before, and I’ve gotten rid of it. You’d be
better off with mozilla firefox or internet explorer. I hope this helps!
