Oddly enough, it works on my office system. It sounds weird reading every space between words, but it'll read. We're using Outlook 2010.

I just gave it a try there. On my system I have MS-Word 2007 and the Insert+C key combination indeed announces the phrase with the misspelled word. I'm using latest JAWS 16 on a 32-bit Windows 7 machine. In my defense, I rarely use MS-Word, and do most of my spell-checking in Outlook Express mail. There I use OESpell add-on, and that indeed does not work with Insert+C, and perhaps has never done so. Sorry for the initial confusion.
