Sounds to me like it may be time for a wireless keyboard with all of the keys on it. That's what I use and its great. I have one from Logitech and one from hp.

There's no dedicated numpad on this keyboard either. <g>

Hi Kimber,

The number pad key 0, which you know as the JAWS key when the Num Lock is
turned off, also serves as the insert key. Therefore, the JAWS and the
Insert key are one in the same.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] No insert key on my new laptop keyboard

Hey All,

I just got a new laptop and there is no insert key on the keyboard. It
has been replaced by a double-sized delete key.

I use the caps lock for my jaws key so that's not the problem. But is
there some key combination I can utilize to invoke insert mode?

And who the heck thought this new keyboard design was a good idea? Why
do I need a double sized delete key anyway? Sheesh!

All suggestions welcome. I'm stuck with this laptop for reasons I
won't go into. Nor is an external keyboard the solution I would
choose. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Kimber
