As someone who has had a Windows ME and Windows Vista machine as well as Windows XP and Windows 7, I never experienced the negative aspects of Windows ME and Vista, and Windows Vista was actually pretty good after service pack 1. The only issue with Windows ME was that I had to install the fix for system restore. I used JAWS with every operating system mentioned. I guess each user has their own stories to tell and this is mine (SMILE).
