Hi Kevin,
I will have to say here, that you are giving ill-advice!
If you would follow what is going on, you would already know that the
Windows 10 is a free upgrade.
Whether you get a notification in the system tray or not, you can still
upgrade, let me say it again, for free!
This upgrade is FREE, for one year from the release date of 07/29/2015.
So, please don't tell list members that they are S O L, if there is no
notification in their system tray.
Thank you,

Richard Q. Justice-list moderator

that's not to reserve the upgrade
the reservation for win 10 was a notification in your system tray
you click
on that to tell microsoft you want it.
againagain that's two separate things!

It's not to late to reserve it. I just checked my updates area
by going to
check for updates and it is still there.

how can it be too late to reserve, the upgrade is still free
until
7/29/2016, right? so how is that handled? how do we opt to get it
before the
deadline?

today is July 29
I checked in my windows updates and I do not see an upgrade to
windows
10 I did reserve the free upgrade but after reserving on
microsoft.com
I deleted the notification from my computer.
so where is it does anyone know
not that I was going to upgrade today, I just wanted to see if
the
option to upgrade is there!
