Hello Lynn: Some of the audio editors that work on different programs for http://radiogeneral.com also favor Soundforge, say it is the best, but I only use Goldwave and no longer edit many programs of which we now have over 150 a week, nor the five podcast we publish weekly at http://EIberoAmerica.com all in Spanish, I am afraid.
I stay busy being webmaster and maintaining all the software we use, both for radio and podcasts. I no longer use Station Playlist either, only one of our 72 presenters does her program live with it, the rest are all pre-recorded programs, uploaded to the server and handled by playlists in Shoutcast 2. We have a VPS and I write, install and maintain all our software which is In PHP, with the exception of Shoutcast, as well as the Unix server. We have been successful so far. I plan to start a new station in English fairly soon, the same way as this one, with no music except with the consent of composers and performers, mostly talk shows and also Old-Time-Radio shows. Internet radio is an excellent endeavor for totally blind people such as I, so I will be looking for volunteers soon, people that want to present their own original, pre-recorded programs. I will call it "Radio Broadcasting Training Service of the US" and the domain will be RBTS.US.
