1. Go to this pc or computer on your desktop, press enter.
2. Highlight your c: drive, and press enter.
3. Highlight program files X86, press enter.
4. highlight internet explorer, press the application key.
5. Arrow down to pin to taskbar, or send to sub menu, go to put short cut on
desktop.
I hope this helps...

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Accessing The Windows 10 Search Results
Hi Folks,
I was under the impression that accessing the Windows 10 search results
would be as easy as using the up or down arrows to get to the search
results, but it would seem that this is not the case, unless I have a bug
where the applications menu does not activate in the Windows 10 Search
Results list.
I Googled Creating an Internet Explorer icon on the desktop or task bar, and
found the instructions that included entering the term, “Internet Explorer”
in the start menu search field, then, in the results, right click on the
Internet Explorer applications, and click on Pin to Task bar.
When I did this, the applications menu did not come up.
Does anyone know how I can manage this?
I’ve tried this on two different laptops, an Acer Inspiron and an HP Envy,
both running Windows 10 home edition, and the latest Jaws 16, but again, I
type the search string in the start search field, then arrow down to get to
the search results, and upon getting to Internet Explorer, when I press
shift+F10, or the applications key, I fail to obtain the context menu, or
any menu for that matter, and entering on the Pin To Task Bar option.
Does anyone have any tips that can help me accomplish this task, or maybe an
alternate way of accomplishing the same task using other methods that don’t
involve going through any of the steps involved in the Google search?
Any help would be appreciated.
Scorpio
