The question has arisen about configuring a Gmail account to receive your own messages posted to a mailing list. I was under the impression the fix is still the same as it was for several years placing the word recent with a Colon after that before the account name on the server tab.
I must admit that I don't have 2013 although with some stumbling around am able to figure things out when needed. I tried the fix mentioned above but the server would not accept the password for the account until I removed the recent fix so to speak. So what is needed is somebody with greater experience with outlook 2013 to chime in and give me some much guidance. It is annoying when something I know should work does not and screws up my batting average for the lack of a better term.
