well before I reinstalled vipre I got those messages 'your computer has malware call ***** immediately' I just restarted the computer and defender removed it. all was good until I got another one I restarted and it was removed again. all was fine, but I remembered I payed for a lifetime key for vipre so I figured I should use it. really it's up to you but I do think defender is all you need, unless you surf on the dark side of the net!

I am planning to get one year for vipre. Is the new defender for w10 better.
I know that the old defender for window was not great and did not do a good
job of protecting

if I hadn't payed for a lifetime key from vipre I would trust win 10
defender, but since I payed a lifetime key for vipre I might as well use it
to get my moneys worth!
defender has greatly improved.

A vipre question.
I'm currently running Win 10's built in defender and of course to go long
side defender Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
Even though I need to pay for it and running it in demo mode.
My question is this.
which is better?
Defender and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Or vipre with win 10's defender?
If we run vipre, would we need win 10's defender?
I'm curious because being on a once a month fixed income, I don't like
having to pay Malwarebytes Anti-Malware each year to safe guard my pc.
Many Thanks.
P.S.
I do like the face of a one time fee of roughly $85 for vipre though.

Hi Kevin,

Under the Navigation tab, when you have items in your quarantine, it will
tell you that there are 1 or 2 or whatever threats in quarantine, and offer
you the opportunity to delete them and some other choices. I have only seen
this one time, just after upgrading to the 2016 version. Since then, I
fortunately have not had any other threats quarantined. Under the Manage tab
and then the Antivirus tab, it will now state how many threats that you have
been protected from. I hope this helps.
