Hello Gang:
Well, like most things, there is a wide range of views. I have a friend,
who uses Avast. He thinks highly of it.
An earlier post said that the paid version of AVG was accessible. Glad to
hear it for that person. I have the paid version of AVG, and don't really
find it very accessible.
For example, I can't figure out how to change the scan settings, even
though there exist a button for it under scan options. Also, if I arrow all
the way to the top or bottom of the page, JAWS goes silent.
A friend set up the schedule. I don't know how to determine when the last
scan occurred.
The only "voluntary" information I get from AVG is that "you are
protected."
So, I don't know whether the inaccessibility is due to JAWS, AVG, or me.
Have a great day. Thanks. Neil

Did Avast get their accessibility issues corrected because for a while it
wasn't accessible by screen reader users?
