To configure Outlook 2013 to work with TDS Mail, follow these directions: 



1. Open Outlook.
2. Click the File button.
3. In the Info category  - click add account.
4. Fill out the following Information:


. Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the "From:"
field of outgoing messages.
. Email Address: Enter your complete TDS Email address.
. Password: Enter your TDS Email password.
. Retype Password: Enter your TDS Email password.


5. Click Next.
6. Click Finished.



To manually set up Outlook 2013 to work with TDS Mail (IMAP), follow these
directions: 



1. Open Outlook. 
2. Click the File button.
3. In the Info category  - click add account.
4. Click (manually configure server settings or additional server type) and
click Next.
5. Select the option "POP or IMAP" and click Next. 
6. Fill in all necessary fields to include the following information: 


. User Information:


. Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the "From:"
field of outgoing messages. 
. Email Address: Enter your complete TDS Email address. 


. Server Information:


. Account Type: IMAP 
. Incoming mail server: mail.tds.net 
. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.tds.net 


. Login Information:


. User Name: Enter your complete TDS Email address the same way as above. 
. Password: Enter your TDS Email password. 


. Require logon using Secure Password Authentication  Leave this unchecked. 

7. Click More Settings... and then click the Outgoing Server tab. 
8. Place a checkmark in My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
9. Click the Advanced tab. 
10. Place a checkmark in the box labeled This Server requires an encrypted
connection and select TLS from the drop down menu. 
11. The Incoming server (IMAP) setting will automatically change to 993.
This is correct. 
12. In the Outgoing server (SMTP) box, enter 587.
13. Click ok.
14. Click Next.
15. Click Finish.

3. In the Info category  - click add account.
4. Click (manually configure server settings or additional server type) and
click next.
5. Select the option "POP or IMAP" and click Next.

. User Information:


. Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the "From:"
field of outgoing messages.
. Email Address: Enter your complete TDS Email address.


. Server Information:


. Account Type: POP3
. Incoming mail server: mail.tds.net
. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.tds.net


. Login Information:


. User Name: Enter your complete TDS Email address the same way as above.
.  Password: Enter your TDS Email password.


. Require logon using Secure Password Authentication Leave this unchecked.
