when windows update is checking for updates for your installation of
windows/microsoft programs, it is being determined which updates are
needed, and if
an update has been hidden or is still categorized as optional, microsoft
has the ability to change the status to important for that hidden or
optional
update. so, the updates will be installed at some point, unless you
interfere.
anyone, please correct me if I am wrong about this.
