if it’s the Microsoft 3000 full size keyboard, it’s real easy. Mine came with a 
little USB plug  and 2 double A batteries, that’s all I had to do to get it to 
work on my window’s laptop.
I’m sure other brands work good too.

I haven't figured it out yet but then again I'm only on my second mug of
