Hi Wayne,

I don't know what your age is but, like they say, every day is a good day, &
if you don't believe it just try missing 1! LOL LOl

What you probably did was not press the control key with the Insert / Jaws
key before pressing the letter, V, which could easily be done no matter what
a person's age is. What the heck, just ask anyone on this list about my
countless brain farts! LOL LOL

The list owner & moderators can vouch for my screw-ups better than anyone no
doubt! LOL LOL
Take care.
Mike

Thanks Mike. I thought that I was doing that but I kept getting JAWS quick
settings. This time it worked and I do have IE 11 as I thought.

I would advise you not to get old like me but the alternative isn't so good
either.

Hi Wayne,

While in IE11 press, Insert / Jaws key, control, + V.
Take care.

Can somebody refresh me on the keyboard command to determine the current
version. It is something-V but I am drawing a blank.

So, if I'm interpreting this correctly, those of us who are using Windows 7
should be sure to have IE 11.

I actually tried IE 11 last Summer, but ran into issues with entering text
into edit boxes that neither I, Jaws Technical Support, The Microsoft
Accessibility Hotline, or several others who tried to help me could resolve.

So, I have rolled back to IE 10.

Guess I'll have to try IE 11 at some point pretty soon here.

Of course, I have Firefox too.

As long as you are using the latest IE browser for the following systems,
you will be supported.
Beginning January 12, 2016, only the most current version of Internet
Explorer available for a supported operating system will receive technical
support and security updates, as shown in the table below:

table with 2 columns and 4 rows
Windows Desktop Operating Systems
Internet Explorer Version
Windows Vista SP2
Internet Explorer 9
Windows 7 SP1
Internet Explorer 11
Windows 8.1 Update
Internet Explorer 11
table end
So, if you are using w-10, you need to be using IE 11.

Love God! with your heart, mind, and soul, that you might be blessed
reaching His goal.
Love your Neighbor as you would yourself, God will truly reward you with
good health.
Love God, your neighbor, as you love yourself, you will then be spiritually
balanced with wealth.
Love His Word that proceeds from His lips, then reflect on the heavens where
God sits.

Yahoo.com. It stated that Microsoft.com will release one update for security
on 01/13/16. After that more updates. They want everybody to use their new
browser.
