I will update later in the season, hopefully some necessary changes will
come along in the next four to five months.

How about you upgrade to windows 10 using the media creation tool
from the microsoft website. I used the get windows 10, and my pc
was useless. Had to reinstall windows 7. I dont recomend you
use the get windws 10.

Holger, Tom, Rose and whomever else, it is possible to have the
get
windows 10 icon out of the systray by going to the notification
area
icons in the control panel or simply searching for this applett.
keep tabbing til you get to an gwx item, down arrow to never, tab
to and
space bar on the ok button. this will turn it off but I don't
know how
to get it back if you should decide to accept the offer, as I
understand, you will have to use the app to recieve a
confirmation email
with a code of some sorts when upgrading.

I'm going to call them, because despite all of my efforts so
far, the "get
Windows 10" message has re-appeared once again.

 I am incredibly angry!

Call MS Aaccessibility, they will take care of it in a matter of
a couple
 minutes.

I just wonder why I can't stop this message without searching
for a Windows
update, removing it and then returning it, or why I cannot make
a choice
about browser while setting up instead of rummaging through
files to
 make it
come up. For Pete Sakes, if they know it is broken, intended
for it to be
broken for us then why did they not give us choices like many
programs
offer. I am sick of the message, the more I see it the less
likely I am to
upgrade until I have no choice, and if I screw up my computer
while
 doing it
they are definitely going to hear about it. Annoying to say the
least.

There is a Windows update that you can uninstall and then hide
it when it
 re-appears.
If I come across the article number, I will send it on to you.
