Hi David, Not good news... I logged in to my Citrix WebEx webinar a few minutes ago and JAWS did great getting in. However, once I arrived at the initial Presenter screen I was unable to get to the Chat button and when I used INS + F7 it told me that I could only use that while on a page on the internet, Duh. So, after several minutes of trying every thing I knew I could see the Chat button but could not access it with JAWS! I believe that once the Chat button is activated that the Chat box and maybe even the polling may be accessed with key strokes. I have numerous webinars in February-March and will continue experimenting using only JAWS. George

I know it's time consuming but whenever possible , let the service provider know when their products are not accessible... otherwise we are guaranteed to remain unable to participate in what are now common tools and innovations if they never hear our voices. My webinars are through WebEx which is a Citrix trade name and their techs have remoted in and worked in my machine a couple of times to resolve issues like this. It took them a while to understand about my lack of vision and it was a little bit of a bear to get them connected but if you have better JAWS skills than I that should help. They set up a webinar room and you log into it just like a live webinar. They use Techs with too few vowels in their names but all speak pretty good English and are helpful. I've just never used GTM before and the course itself, is held physically too far, and I don't feel like dragging my butt over there, unless I absolutely have to. I will contact the school to see if we can run a test with audio to make sure that works. I've attended numerous GTW sessions and the sound automatically appeared when the code to join the event was entered on the first screen. The features that I have not been able to access are the message box, in which you can type a question or comment to the webinar moderator; and , the polling feature, in which the moderator asks you to respond to questions visible on the screen. If anyone has the keys to total access to this widely used business and learning tool, I'd love to hear them too. I got some training for work and the school uses GTM for online courses and I've never used GTM before, so I thought I would ask. I really just need to get the sound working, as you can imagine, the video is not really a must have, but as long as I can hear the presenter and class, it should be fine. Thanks!
