Hi David,
Thanks a lot for clearing it up for good. I went directly from Windows XP to 8.1. I did not know it was in Windows Vista and Windows 7 and Windows key + X brought the mobility center right up in those versions. I learn everyday, and want nothing less. Have a great one.

the windows mobility center started in windows vista.
in windows vista and windows 7, the keystroke windows-key+x takes you
directly into the mobility center.
windows 8&10, windows-key+x brings up a context menu, now you need to arrow
and enter on the mobility center.

That command is only available so far in Windows 10.

Windows + X does nothing in my copy of Win 7.
A search for 'Mobility Center' has a null result in my copy of Win 7.
