I use EdSharp, written by Jamal Mazrui. This text editor works in Windows 7.

I called Technical Support and was told that UltraEdit is broke with JAWS, which I found out, and Notepad++ also will not work with JAWS. They had no suggestions. Really! And a text editor is a basic thing. I use it for my job all the time. This just came up because I got a new computer and can't find the serial number for my old UltraEdit, so thought I'd load their current one. But that doesn't work well at all. I also have a note out to UltraEdit to see if I can get a serial number for my old version. Well, if anyone has suggestions for a good text editor, please let me know. Thank you.
