Yes, that is the procedure exactly.

David,

Okay. Let's say I have a set of scripts in my JAWS 15 folder that I need to
migrate to JAWS 17. Since they would need compiling, can I collect them into
a zip file, and then run this program to install and compile on JAWS 17?

Since I imagine our friend on the other side of the world is in bed I will
try and answer your questions.

The program presumes that you have the scripts in a zip archive first of
all. You will search for that file from within the program and it will do
the rest, I.E. extract the scripts, compile them and of course put them
where they need to go. I'll demonstrate all of this today or tomorrow when I
make a recording. I believe although this would be a just in case kind of a
deal placing the scripts in a zip archive if for some reason they come
already extracted.

Cuong,

Yes, that definitely helps my understanding. Very nice, especially that it
will compile the scripts for the current JAWS version, as well as install to
the correct location.

I look forward to using it, especially when I update some scripts from an
older version of JAWS.

Oh, and to clarify, this will also allow me to collect the scripts into a
zip file so I can install in another version of JAWS?

Hi Dave
Being a computer teacher, I realize that the beginner of using computer, or
people who just use computer by there habit will have difficulty when they
need to install a script. They confuse of remembering the command to open
the roaming folder, then freedom scientific etc. There are also some script
required recompile before using, and they continue having difficulty by the
steps to open and compile each source file. This tool help people to install
script and doing all those steps. They just pick a zip file, and check the
options they want, then press the Install button.
Hope that helps.
