I know that you can turn the virtual cursor off globally or by application with the insert+z or insert+z a few times. Perhaps this is what the tech person is trying to get at. Whether this has anything to do with the actual problem... Can't say I've experienced this random turning off of the virtual cursor with my JFW 17 on either of my machines though.

It still didn't work for me. Not Oregons fault, let's blame Florida. Ftr, I thought it worked, at first it did but I didn't give it much time and bam, back to square one. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Kimber Gardner Sent: Friday, April 15, 2016 3:59 AM To: jaws-users-list <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Subject: [JAWS-Users] FS response to the virtual cursor issue Hi All, I am pasting below FS response to the problem of the virtual cursor turning itself off randomly. "Thank you for contacting Freedom Scientific technical Support. While on the internet, hold down the insert key and press the letter z three times rapidly and see if this resolve your issue." Hahahahahahahahaha. I just had to share that one. Btw I still have the problem, just in case there was any doubt. I am seriously considering returning to version 16 since 17 has given me one pile of grief after another.
