Several things. First, the six-pack is the set of six keys to the right of the main keyboard keys that contains the delete, insert, pageup, etc. keys.
Second, looking over the different posts here, I checked what JAWS key identifier (insert-1 above the letters) says. Control-alt-pageup and pagedown seem to function while JAWS isn't speaking. Pageup and pagedown alone affect speed while JAWS is in "say all."
