Since I have the windows.iso file on my desktop already, I assume I should be able to install windows 10 even after the free upgrade period expires? Is this correct or not?

David,

I don't know where you are getting the info that MS will continue to offer
Win
10 as a free upgrade. I subscribe to several PC newsletters and as far as
I've seen, the free upgrade from an earlier version of Windows to Windows 10
expires on July 29th.

David:

Do you have any idea as to how long the Windows 10 offer will be extended
for those of us who are still running Windows 7?

I'd like to upgrade to windows 10 sometime, but need some time here to do so
because of quite a few things that are currently on my plate as I prepare to
retire from full-time teaching, to relocate to a new home, etc.

Any official info you could provide in this matter would be helpful.

Thank you!

Dr. Tom Behler from Michigan

Hi Holger,
If you already have a PC, MS will extend the free offer for win10 until it
becomes more accessible which will be after the end of July for screen
reader users. If you buy a new PC, win10 will already be on it. You just pay
for the PC. Take care.

Hi, all
I heard that MS will be starting to charge for W10 in July. Is this for any
new PC someone gets and for those of us who had not upgraded yet.
