Hi Zoe, You can use the insert+the number one on the number row to turn keyboard help on and off. By using this command you can touch any key on your keyboard and Jaws will tell you what the key is. When you are done do the insert+number one key to turn it off.
The pause key is the top right key on the desktop keyboard. I would try the windows key pause but I don't know which key is the pause. I am ok though because you said the wrong version won't install so we're good to go. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Mike B. But, if you download & try to install the wrong version, Jaws / your system won't let you do it. For example, I just tried to install a 32 bit version of Jaws on my 64 bit system, & this is the message I received: JAWS Setup Package You cannot install this product on this platform. Please contact Freedom Scientific for a version that will run on your platform. OK HTH Take care. Mike Sent from my iBarstool. Then switch to the JAWS cursor and arrow down. On my computer, I'm told I have a 64-bit system. It takes several presses of the down arrow key to reach this line. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of zoe fiogkos Sent: Friday, July 15, 2016 11:20 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Latest J17.0.2417 Direct Download Links + What's New Hi Mike, I have never updated jaws from a download link, I have always updated from the pop up that jaws gives you when starting up your computer. >From reading conversations on this list and other lists, I have been convinced it's better to download and update. However I have a question, and it might sound stupid to some, but how do I know which to download the 32 or 64 bit? -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Mike B.
