Hi

I found your comment that Dectalk Access 32 works in Windows 10 very
interesting. So, yesterday I decided to give it a try on a Windows 10
system using JAWS 17,0.2147.

In the first attempt I used the Synthesizer and Braille Manager to add the
Dectalk Acces32 voice profile. Then I restarted JAWS and used
JAWSkey+control+s to change to that synthesizer. But when I did, JAWS
started talking using the Eliquence voice instead of the Dectalk voice.
When I pressed JAWSkey+control+s again, JAWS told me that Eliquence was the
default profile. SO I uninstalled the Dectalk Access voice profile and
then re-added it again. But instead of Just restarting JAWS I rebooted the
system with the same results. So I went to JAWS, Options, voices and then
voice adjustment and selected the Dectalk Access32 profile. When I tabbed
to Person, in both the all contexts and the individual contexts all JAWS
said was blank. And there wasn't any way to change the person to a Dectalk
Access32 voice.

So I repeated the Uninstall and re-install of the Dectalk Access32 profile.
But instead of immediately changing to that profile I went to JAWS, Options,
Voices and Voice adjustment and selected the Dectalk Access32 profile. And
jaws started speaking using the Dectalk voice. . I changed the profile
settings I wanted, then saved the profile and made it the default profile.
So I had Dectalk Access32 working for the rest of the day using the dectalk
voice. But when I rebooted the system this morning, JAWS did not start
talking automatically with the Dectalk Access32 synthesizer as it is set to
do. So I changed to the Eliquence profile and then back to Dectalk
Access32. But instead of talking with the Dectalk voice, I was back to the
Eliquence voices and had no way of changing them.

So if you have the Dectalk Access32 running successfully with the Dectalk
voice and see anything I might of missed, please let me know.
