CheckAdd-ons as Mario suggested? Tbird sometimes crashes on me. Deleting a bunch of sent messages seems to help. But Tbird crashing is not your keyboard locking up. Are you losing focus? When it appears to lock up, try turning the numpad key off and clicking the left click button to the immediate right of the numpdad key button. Alternatively you can click the left mouse button not on a link and the page will refocus. I don't lose focus in tbird, but who knows? It could be possible.

You could have a corrupted file, too. repairing Tbird is beyond my pay grade. Deleting Tbird and redownloading the latest Tbird version is an extreme option. So is setting your whole computer back to the day before you downloaded the latest Tbird Version. Finally, it seems like T'bird's chat group might help.

No I compose messages the normal way but when I go to read them the computer seems to crash for some reason but I am still able to read them but when I go to close the message the program becomes un responsive and when I start the computer in the morning and enter on thunderbird the computer also becomes un responsive

Re: [JAWS-Users] Thunderbird
Never hhad that problem. 45.2 seemed to make message closing work differently than the others. I would sometimes close a message and I'd close Tbird. So I started closing messages wih the escape key (I open in a new window).

I've not had the issue you are having, but if I were you I might check your settings under reading or display and see if they need changing. Do you close
messages with the escape key?

is any one using Thunderbird 45.20 having this problem every time I open a message to read then after close the message the program becomes unresponsive
how can I fix this problem?

I do get the unresponsive script stop button or continue button so I press stop script button and I read the next message and the same thing happens

thanks in advance
