Hi.
Another solution is if your computers both have decent bluetooth to use
a bluetooth keyboard that has multiple connection support like the
logitech k760. I believe there are other logitech keyboards that can do
this also. Of interest, if you wanted just one set of speakers it might
be possible if one of your computer has line in, to have a patch cable
going from the speaker out jack on one computer to the line in jack on
the other, then on the one that has the line in, set it to listen to the
line in jack through that computer's output sound card. Then use
speakers connected to the computer with the line in jack and you should
be able to hear both computers through the same set of speakers, at the
same time so you'll know if the one you're not using right now is up to
something if it has speech or is playing sounds. Of course, if you use
two sets of speakers moot point. The speaker discussion might be worth
thinking about even if you go for kvm switch, especially if it does have
no audio support.
Good luck. I use USB speakers on my desktop computers USB powered
speakers that is so very low power usage, and I just leave them be so
all my computers can be heard any time they're up to something that
makes noise.

Fred,
What you want is a KVM switch, I'm currently using this switch and I am
running 2 computers with one keyboard and one mouse. You can get one at
Amazon. I
I believe it runs about $30.
Have a great day,
Shannon

Subject: [JAWS-Users] 1 keyboard and 2 computers
I am using W10, outlook 2010 and latest jaws and I would like to know if it
is possible to run two computers using one keyboard. I am using two
computers and two keyboards from my desk now and it would be much easier if
I could run both computers using one keyboard.
Thanks much,
