I am not sure if it was windows 98 or xp that had a feature to have the internet access available only when needed. A few weeks ago my system had some vicious attacks. After a few attempts they did break through my firewall. I would like to have it available only when downloading or sending email, system updates and internet searching. I do see in my firewall settings that I can stop all traffic. Just not sure if they could still break through with this activated. --- Please visit my web page It's motivational, inspirational with a touch of humor There is also a very extensive resource list for the blind http://www.LennyMcHugh.com International Brotherhood of Magicians member #43990 For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ David Ferrin You don't have to be crazy to run a list like this, but it does help.
