I know many of you have already installed JAWS 18 and didn't see the need to
comment, but for anyone who has yet to do so, two things struck me as I went
through the process just now. First, unlike with all previous versions, I
wasn't told to reboot. Once I agreed to migrate my JAWS 17 settings to 18, JAWS
18 came up the way I want it. I thought there must be some oversight, but I
opened a program or two, and everything worked as usual.

Then I discovered that JAWS 18 was included in my alt-tab windows rotation. My
setting has always been to have JAWS in the system tray. So now I did reboot.
When my PC came back up, JAWS 18 was in the system tray, where it belongs.

So, a very smooth installation process. The only hiccough for me was my
expectation that I'd need to reboot. Sometimes you don't realize that good news
really is good news. The system tray issue is almost too minor to mention.
