1. Tell her to press INSERT+F12 to hear the current time. If this is correct, then there's nothing to be done and the problem is with the ISP of the person sending the message. 2. If the time is not correctly reported after pressing INSERT+F12, then: A. Go to the Start Menu. B. Press the letter S until "Settings" is announced. C. Press RIGHT ARROW and arrow up or down until "Control Panel" is announced. Press ENTER. D. Press the letter D until "Date and Time" is announced. Press ENTER. E. In the next dialog, on the Date and Time tab, she can set the date and time. F. Press CTRL+TAB to move to the Time Zone tab and select the correct time zone for the area in which she lives. Also, make sure that the check box to automatically allow for Daylight Savings Time is checked. G. Press CTRL+TAB again to move to the Internet Time tab. Here, she can choose to have the computer clock automatically synchronized with a network time server every time she connects to the network. I strongly recommend that this function be enabled. H. Press TAB to move to OK and press ENTER. At the Control Panel main menu, press ALT+F4.
