Hello, I was wondering if when you switched to DSL if you installed the ISP's browser such as Yahoo? One other suggestion you could do is, go to tools and options while in IE then go to the Programs tab page tab to check if the box make sure IE is the default browser is checked and if not then check that and tab to the apply button and spacebar that then tab to the ok button.
Hope this has been helpful Hailley ----- Original Message ----- From: "Debbie G." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <jaws-users@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 06, 2006 11:41 PM Subject: [jaws-users] Internet Explore Problem > Hello all, >>> >> I realize this is a Jaws users list and I apologize that this is off >> topic, I just can't seem to get help in another list that I'm in. >> >> I recently upgraded to DSL high speed internet. >>> >>> Ever since I upgraded, when I open up internet explore, go to a website, >>> click on the link of my choice, I can read the content on that page,>but >>> if I click on another link, I'll get the message that says cannot find >>> server and all its suggestions on what I should do to fix this problem. >>> This is very similar to the problem I had when I tried downloading that >>> audio tutorial from Accessible World's site. >>> >>> The only way I can get internet access again is to restart the computer. >>> >>> I called my ISP and they told me that it is an Internet Explore problem >>> >>> I checked all of my settings, and everything is fine there. >>> >>> I'm running windows XP, Internet explore 6 and Jaws 7.0. >>> >>> If any of you can assist me in rectifying this problem, I would really >>> appreciate it. >>> >>> Thanks in advance. >>> Debbie >> > > > > > > Visit the JAWS Users list home page at: > http://www.jaws-users.com > > For a complete list of email commands pertaining to the JAWS Users List > send a blank email to: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Visit the new archives page at the following address > http://www.mail-archive.com/jaws-users@yahoogroups.com/ > Yahoo!
