I now have JAWS 8 running on XP pro. It works much better then 7.1 when navigating among WebPages when using the tab browsing. As well, 8 now reads all the buttons properly on the general options page of IE And I have not had any problems with OE locking up when spell checking a message when forwarding it.
Other then JAWS only recognizing two out of the 11 links on the following web site, it appears to be quite stable. The web site is: http://www.oldiesproject.com/ JAWS 7.1 had a function called Legacy Internet Explorer in the configuration Manager under Internet options that fixed this problem. However, JAWS 8 does not appear to have an equivalent feature. Any suggestions? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marilyn Walker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, November 17, 2006 2:16 PM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] JAWS 8 Seems To Be Out Ok, so who is going to download jaws 8 and test drive it?
