Some good comments about the program in a newsletter I get
combined with the question here prompted me to check the posts I'd
saved about the program.
Apparently, at the end of October, there was a problem with it-
"It thinks our screen
readers are keyloggers. You have to disable the keylogger protection."
People wrote that the program's manufacturer is aware of the problem
and is working on it. I'll check and see if I can find any posts
since then saying the problem has been fixed.

Mitch,
If the Spy Sweeper program you are referring to is made by Web Root,
I gave it a try couple years ago and deleted it because I had no luck
with
it. BUT remember that was two years ago and JAWS has changed since and
maybe
a more current of Spy Sweeper has changed too.
Your other choice is to see if it has a scheduler in the program and
the
next time a sighted person is there set the scheduler up to run in the
wee
hours of the morning when you are asleep or not using your computer.
There are other syware programs out there that are more friendly to us
JAWS
users.

Mitch,
Don't forget, it's Thanksgiving Day, and there may not be too many
folks
reading email today.
Also, it's possible that no one has used that program, to give you any
feedback.
