I'm trying to find out how the ancestor:: axis works.. The DefaultNavigator returns an AncestorAxisIterator, which calls the object model navigator's getParentAxisIterator method.
I don't understand why the ancestor iterator (in util) returns a pointer to the parent iterator (instead of calling the object model's getAncestorAxisIterator). Can someone enlighten me?
