Hi, I'm a JaxME newbie - I've used the ant task to generate my bean class as well as the two conf files (jaxb.properties, Configuration.xml). These files are on the classpath along with my generate classes.
My unmarshalling code is like so: JAXBContext ctx = JAXBContext.newInstance(com.mycompany.beans.ObjectFactory.class); Unmarshaller u = ctx.createUnmarshaller(); myBean1 = (MyBean1)u.unmarshal(url); I am getting an exception like this: javax.xml.bind.UnmarshalException: unexpected element (uri:"", local:"results"). Expected elements are (none) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.UnmarshallingContext.handleEvent(UnmarshallingContext.java:556) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.Loader.reportError(Loader.java:199) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.Loader.reportError(Loader.java:194) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.Loader.reportUnexpectedChildElement(Loader.java:71) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.UnmarshallingContext$DefaultRootLoader.childElement(UnmarshallingContext.java:962) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.UnmarshallingContext._startElement(UnmarshallingContext.java:399) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.UnmarshallingContext.startElement(UnmarshallingContext.java:380) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.SAXConnector.startElement(SAXConnector.java:101) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.parsers.AbstractSAXParser.startElement(AbstractSAXParser.java:501) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.dtd.XMLDTDValidator.startElement(XMLDTDValidator.java:767) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.XMLNSDocumentScannerImpl.scanStartElement(XMLNSDocumentScannerImpl.java:400) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.XMLNSDocumentScannerImpl$NSContentDriver.scanRootElementHook(XMLNSDocumentScannerImpl.java:626) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.XMLDocumentFragmentScannerImpl$FragmentContentDriver.next(XMLDocumentFragmentScannerImpl.java:3095) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.XMLDocumentScannerImpl$PrologDriver.next(XMLDocumentScannerImpl.java:921) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.XMLDocumentScannerImpl.next(XMLDocumentScannerImpl.java:648) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.XMLNSDocumentScannerImpl.next(XMLNSDocumentScannerImpl.java:140) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.XMLDocumentFragmentScannerImpl.scanDocument(XMLDocumentFragmentScannerImpl.java:510) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.parsers.XML11Configuration.parse(XML11Configuration.java:807) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.parsers.XML11Configuration.parse(XML11Configuration.java:737) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.parsers.XMLParser.parse(XMLParser.java:107) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.parsers.AbstractSAXParser.parse(AbstractSAXParser.java:1205) at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.SAXParserImpl$JAXPSAXParser.parse(SAXParserImpl.java:522) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.UnmarshallerImpl.unmarshal0(UnmarshallerImpl.java:195) at com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.runtime.unmarshaller.UnmarshallerImpl.unmarshal(UnmarshallerImpl.java:168) at javax.xml.bind.helpers.AbstractUnmarshallerImpl.unmarshal(AbstractUnmarshallerImpl.java:137) at javax.xml.bind.helpers.AbstractUnmarshallerImpl.unmarshal(AbstractUnmarshallerImpl.java:142) at javax.xml.bind.helpers.AbstractUnmarshallerImpl.unmarshal(AbstractUnmarshallerImpl.java:151) I noticed that the classes listed here aren't the JAXME ones, but rather the reference implementation's, even though my jaxb.properties file is on the classpath. Is there something more that needs to be done? I've even changed my unmarshalling code to use the JAXME impl directly, like so: JAXBContext ctx = org.apache.ws.jaxme.impl.JAXBContextImpl..newInstance(com.mycompany.beans.ObjectFactory.class); Unmarshaller u = ctx.createUnmarshaller(); myBean1 = (MyBean1)u.unmarshal(url); but the result is the same - is there something else key I'm missing? Is there a way to use the JAXME functionality directly without worrying about maintaining a friendly relationship with JAXB api/setup? thanks --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: jaxme-dev-unsubscr...@ws.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: jaxme-dev-h...@ws.apache.org
