1. If you are running on Unix, then shutdown -hy then change the runlevel to 2(telinit 2).Do tty and only one terminal should be present.By this all user processes are eliminated.
2. If you are running on windows,go to task manager check for any T24 user process and end it from there.Disable all other user with access to the system apart from admin.
