I don't know what documentation you are looking at but, if I
understand you correctly, I think you need to do something like this:

PROMPT ''
CRT @(-1)
promptPositionAndText = @(1,3):'Enter number:'
inputPosition = @(15,3):@(-4)
CRT promptPositionAndText:
CRT inputPosition:
INPUT data,10:_
CRT inputPosition:data"R#10":
CRT
