Hi Igor, It is low-level accounting procedure :) Temenos is intentionally hiding API of this core procedure, because miuse of it can easily screw your system / books. Many people think that they need to use this accounting function directly, but they are wrong. Try using DATA.CAPTURE or FUNDS.TRANSFER applications instead - eg. via OFS.GLOBUS.MANAGER/OFS.POST.MESSAGE. Then live long happily and god will bless you. You will keep also T24 compatibility and you will lower your maintenance cost. Mentioned appllications will give you also accounting entries reversal functionality - out of the box.
You would need to use EB.ACCOUNTING if you want to create your own T24 application that performs accountings (like MORTGAGE, LOANS.AND.DEPOSITS do). Developing local applications is a larger task however and involves application template and batch jobs programming. Conclusion: do not use EB.ACCOUNTING, you likely do not need it. You have got FT.TAPES application functionality to perform bulk accountings. Please consult your Temenos consultant to get more information. Note: Theoretically you may save a lot of time with EB.ACCOUNTING, because no extra checks (no checks? <grind>) are performed when using it. You may however easily end up in unbalanced system and raise mismatches.
