What Jim says about writing your own C interface is right on. And if you are not familiar enough with C and socket programming to write your own C socket interface for jBASE, then you don't really want to be programming sockets in jBASE anyway -- you'll be much happier programming the socket portion in Java or C# and handling the jBASE interface another way.
