What version of jbase you are using ? We had this problem
"Segmentation violation" on investigation we found that the logs
itself was corrupted becuase on reading logs on primary site using
LIST command is also aborted with same error. We are using JBASE
5.0.16 and in this release this error is rectified by the HD so in our
case it was logs error created on primary site rather than jlogdup.
