When you have connected to their system try and access their router. I'm sure you'll easily be able to figure out the IP address/password as it's likely they have been left as the defaults. Once you get there you'll usually see a user name or email address in the setup. You could connect to their network, then open your web browser and go to http://www.showmemyip.com/ or a similar site. Then you could google the IP address and you might get a lucky hit -- they might be running a DNS server or something. But it's more than likely an address from a DHCP or PPPoE pool, and won't tell you anything. At this point you'd have to decide whether to give it up, or to sniff their network traffic. I won't give any how-to advice on that. You can probably identify your neighbor without too much trouble, but do you really want to do that?
