It seems like there are some global configuration options that
will need to be set for a transaction-aware connection pool system. The
main one I've thought of so far is that you need tell it how to get the
current TransactionManager (I assume this will be the same across all
pools - is this right?). Can we assume this will always be via JNDI?
So in the JMX paradigm, I guess you'd have one mini MBean to
initialize the whole system, and then one MBean loaded per pool to supply
configuration parameters for the individual pools.
