Hey FYI, I am currently looking at optimizing the JNDI provider. I have done some things already (such as caching server connections, and optimizing vm-local case), but for some weird reason the actual use of the server is superslow on remote calls. I have no idea why yet. It doesn't seem to be a network configuration problem because using the actual jBoss server remotely is very speedy.
