You've probably noticed from the deluge of CVS notices, but the
Minerva JDBC pools are now in CVS for jBoss 2.0. This includes the pools,
the MBeans to start them, and a sample entry in jboss.conf to load a pool.
I've been encouraged to move the detailed discussion to the JAWS mailing
list, so I'll carry on with a detailed overview there.
I'm assuming that most of the people on this list will be using
the source distribution, but a separate Minerva binary will hopefully be
online under the JAWS pages soon. You can use that with the existing
jBoss binary until a new binary is cut with Minerva in it.
I'll be happy to help with configuration if anyone has questions
or problems, and I have a test EJB and client I can pass along as well.
I guess any bug reports should go into Bugzilla, though as I said I'll be
haunting the JAWS mailing list.
